A Water Slide...Out of Roofing Materials? Print E-mail
Written by admin (Cranston, Rhode Island)
Yes...apparently, it can be done. An intrepid construction worker set up this slip-and-slide made out of roofing materials and some fancy pump work on a hill slope adjacent to his house. With an elevation of 70 feet, 250 feet long and 10 feet wide, with a 600 sq. ft. base pool, it just comes to show that a little ingenuity can give your local amusement park a run for its money.

Quick Tips

Want to drain out a spa? Siphon it. Connect a garden hose to the faucet, drop the other end in the spa, turn the faucet on for a half-minute, then turn it back off, unscrew the hose, and the water will pour right out.
